2 – Format

2.1 – Practice Race

     2.1.1 – Day prior to each race meeting

     2.1.2 – Same starting conditions as the race session

     2.1.3 – 120 minute practice

     2.1.4 – 10 minute qualifying 

     2.1.5 – 20 minute race

     2.1.1 – 120 minutes

     2.1.2 – 30% track usage

 

2.2 – Qualifying

     2.2.1 – 10 minutes

     2.2.2 – Open qualifying (all cars on track with one another)

 

2.3 – Format A

     2.3.1 – Heat 1

     2.3.1.1 – 10 minutes

     2.3.1.2 – Only drivers who qualified in odd positions are eligible (1, 3, 5, 17, etc)

     2.3.1.3 – Grid ordered by qualifying time

 

2.3.2 – Heat 2

     2.3.2.1 – 10 minutes

     2.3.2.2 – Only drivers who qualified in even positions are eligible (2, 4, 6, 18, etc)

     2.3.2.3 – Grid ordered by qualifying time

 

2.3.3 – B Final

     2.3.3.1 – 14 minutes

     2.3.3.2 – Only drivers who finished below a certain position in their heat will be eligible (this position will be decided based on the expected number of entries for each round)

     2.3.3.3 – Grid ordered by heat results

 

2.3.4 – Warm up

     2.3.4.1 – 3 minutes in length

 

2.3.5 – A Final

     2.3.5.1 – 18 minutes

     2.3.5.2 – Drivers who finished better than a certain position in their heat and better than a certain number in the B Final are eligible (these positions will be decided based on the expected number of entries for each round)

     2.3.5.3 – Grid ordered by the heat results and B Final

 

2.4 – Format B (this will be used if series organisers believe entries have fallen too low for format A to be effective)

     2.4.1 – Race 1

     2.4.1.1 – 25 minutes

     2.4.1.2 – Grid ordered by qualifying time

 

2.4.2 – Warm-Up

     2.4.2.1 – 3 minutes

 

2.4.3 – Race 2

     2.4.3.1 – 30 minutes

     2.4.3.2 – Race grid is the race 1 results inverted by a number of places (this position will be decided based on the expected number of entries for each round)

 

2.5 – Format C (this will be used if series organisers believe entries have fallen too low for format A to be effective)

     2.5.1 – Race 1

     2.5.1.2 – 15 minutes in length

     2.5.1.3 – Grid ordered by qualifying time

     2.5.1.4 – B format points system

 

2.5.2 – Race 2

     2.5.2.1 – 15 minutes in length

     2.5.2.2 – Grid ordered by race 1’s results with the top 6 inverted

     2.5.2.3 – B format points system

 

2.5.3 – Warm Up

     2.5.3.1 – 3 minutes in length

 

2.5.4 – Race 3

     2.5.4.1 – 15 minutes in length

     2.5.4.2 – Grid ordered by race 2’s results with the top 10 inverted

     2.5.4.3 – B format points system

 

2.6 – General Meeting Rules 

     2.6.1 – Open setup

     2.6.2 – 1 fast repair per race

     2.6.3 – Drive through awarded at 17 incidents, and at every 6 incidents after that

     2.6.4 – Track usage is carried over from each session

     2.6.5 – Weather conditions throughout the iRacing session will be identical to the ARA F4 datapack conditions for that week

     2.6.6 – Static sky & time of day

     2.6.7 – Organisers may change parts of any of the formats if they deem appropriate

 

2.7 – General Championship Rules 

     2.7.1 – 10 meetings

     2.7.2 – Each driver’s lowest scoring meeting is dropped

     2.7.3 – Drop scores only affect the drivers’ scores not the teams’ scores
