ARL Touring Car Championship

With the release of 2 new TCR machines and the eagerly anticipated Knockhill circuit, there is not a better time to launch a new ARL TC championship, this time utilising all 6 British iRacing tracks

There is a change of format for this season… 2 different formats will now be used. Similar to our Porsche Cup and F3 series some rounds will consist of 2x 25 minute races, with a reverse grid for the second, with others being 3x 15 minute races, with reverse grids in the latter 2. Where possible, the series follows the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, so there should be an opportunity to practice in the official series before some rounds.

This series has a very long history, dating back to 2014 as the BSRTC championship. Many champions have been crowned, first in the KIA Optima and more recently in the Audi RS3 LMS. The series becoming multi-make will be a new era for the series.

Kieran Harrison won season 2 and 3 of the ARL Touring Car Championship, the second is great fashion, beating out George Simmons and Wojciech Swirydowicz.  Mark Woodhouse meanwhile won the amateur championship, ahead of two-time runner-up Ben Gregory.

The ARLTC is what got me hooked on iRacing. Big grids & 3 short races make every race a different challenge. Plus the reverse grid races means everyone has a chance to finish on the podium.

There's plenty of racing in a series regardless of skill level. ARL attracts great talent, and racing with those drivers will make you better

I’ve been involved in this league for over 6 years now which speaks for itself. There is no better place on iRacing to have quality, competitive, hard racing every week.
