ARL’s American time zone GT3 series!

ARL GT Americas

The calendar features some classic international venues such as Spa and Suzuka, along with offering a practice race for Petit Le Mans with our opener hosted at Road Atlanta a week prior to the special event. Daytona’s high speed nature should make for one of the most unpredictable meetings of the season whilst Road America and Watkins Glen are guaranteed to provide great racing.

Qualifying for each meeting starts at 21:00 Eastern Time, with the race(s) commencing 10 minutes later. Whilst the series has timings ideal for Americans, anyone is welcome to race in the series as long as you possess a D class road license.

Our 3 race formats from the GT3 Trophy are carried over, with each being used at 2 meetings during the season. The A format is a standard one hour race, with the grid ordered by qualifying. The B format is a one hour race but with approximately the top 8 from qualifying inverted for the grid. Drivers score points for qualifying in this format. The C format has a 30 minute race one with the grid set by qualifying, but has a 25 minute race 2 with the grid being set by the race 1 results with a reverse grid applied of around 8 places

PESC drivers Kevin Ellis and Peter Berryman will be stewarding during the season, giving out post race time penalties and pitlane starts for poor driving standards. Official practice races are hosted the night prior to each round to offer an opportunity to all drivers to practice the track and most importantly gain experience on how to race on the circuit. Apex Racing TV will be providing coverage of all 6 rounds of the season on their YouTube channel and share the best moment of each round on their social media platforms.
