ARL GT Championship presented by Colbek

The Apex Racing League GT Championship (ARL GT) presented by Colbek was ARL’s first championship after our relaunch in the summer of 2019. There have been 6 seasons since in a variety of formats. In the past few editions, the series has featured GTE cars, visiting some of the world’s most iconic circuits, picking the best tracks from the IMSA and European Sprint official series schedules.

The series is delighted to welcome Colbek as a title sponsor for season 4! Thanks to Colbek and another anonymous donation, the league will have a prize pool of £936 across the season. Prize money will be available to the Pro and Am podium in all 24 races!

Give your favourite racer some recognition by going to colbek.co.uk/iracing to vote for your driver of the day. The vote closes at the end of the Tuesday following the event and each winner will receive a prize medal recognising their popularity with the viewers.

Colbek is an IT reseller with over 30 years in business, working with IT managers and departments across the UK to find easy savings on Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Altaro, ESET, Acronis many more. Visit colbek.co.uk/iracing to see if you can get better pricing for everything that runs your business IT.

23 time race winner Tom McMahon took his third GT title last season, comfortably beating Daniel Lee and James Crouch. Dean Powell and EvoSR won the amateur and teams titles respectively. However, since season 3, season 1 of the GT Team championship took place, which saw Triple A eSports, with Amaury Bonduel and Kenny Roosens clinch the title against a very high quality field. Should the best from both series sign up this season, the championship could be the most competitive it has ever been.

A fun championship which was just the right length to keep it engaging, competitive and fresh - roll on the next one!

Adam HedgecockBoosTED Motorsport Driver

ARL GT is full of competitive but courteous racers of a wide range of pace and experience. The teams that staple the grid together are friendly and inclusive which creates an especially good environment for solo racers as much as it does for new teams. The broadcasts are spectator friendly with great commentary and clear overlays that make it easy to track you on your campaign in every race. The majority of ARL competitors return season after season thanks to all of these great characteristics.

I enjoyed the ARL American GT Championship because I won the title!
