GT3 and GT4 cars racing around the globe!

ARL GT Trophy

We are pleased to launch the first season of the Apex Racing League GT Trophy! This series features the GT3 and GT4 cars in 60 minute races across 7 rounds.

We will be visiting 7 classic venues in Europe and the Americas, largely matching the IMSA Sports car series and Michelin Pilot series along with the VRS GT Sprint series. Each meeting will consist of a 60 minute race, with a mandatory pitstop. All drivers will have a title to fight for, with an amateur and teams championship to be decided in both classes along with the overall championship.

The top drivers and teams from each championship will receive a total of £560 in SDK Gaming and Apex Racing Academy subscriptions. Trophies will be awarded to the top drivers in each drivers championship as well!

The car classes have been inspired by the British GT championship, but seeing that we have no limits on what circuits we can use, we have decided to visit the best venues from the official series championships the GT3 and GT4 cars run. The fuel tanks will be limited in both classes, making a pitstop necessary to get to the finish, although the tyres should last the full hour. Damage will still be important to avoid, but with each driver receiving a fast repair for the race, competitors will be able to stay in the action after a hit.

First season in the Audi TCR car and it was a blast, Kia racing was good but the wheel to wheel action in the Audi is on another level. Good racing throughout the field and the mixture of Pro and Am means you really have someone to race at all times.

The ARLTC is what got me hooked on iRacing. Big grids & 3 short races make every race a different challenge. Plus the reverse grid races means everyone has a chance to finish on the podium.

I’ve been involved in this league for over 6 years now which speaks for itself. There is no better place on iRacing to have quality, competitive, hard racing every week.
