ARA Porsche Cup

Off the back of a hugely popular season 9, the Apex Racing Academy Porsche Cup returns on the 15th of May with a record 12 round calendar! The championship once again features 3 driver divisions, a free 1 month ARA subscription and our entertaining elimination heat format

The biggest change compared to season 9 is the broadcast. Moving to Friday evenings, the entire season is streamed from the Apex Racing TV Esports Studio, delivering the highest quality production of any series on iRacing. Qualifying action for each meeting kicks off at 19:40 UK time (19:40 GMT for rounds 1 and 2, 20:40 GMT for rounds 3 to 12) with gridding for race 1 of the evening half an hour later

Every driver receives a free 1 month subscription to Apex Racing Academy just for registering to the series, granting access to datapacks designed by PESC driver, Michael Janney, who will be hosting group coaching sessions on the days before each event. Several competitors from season 9, including our division champions, paid tribute to Michael for assisting their improvement during the season

8 of the 12 rounds this season feature our elimination heat format. 2x heats send approximately 20 drivers straight to the A final, while the rest must compete in the B final for the final few spots. Grids for each race are limited to just 35 cars even when 60 drivers are competing, ensuring driving standards remain high. 4 rounds meanwhile consist of a single 60 minute race with a mandatory pitstop, an unsual challenge for cup car drivers. Each round includes a 30 minute qualifying, where each driver division gets 10 minutes on track.

The series covers iRacing’s entire 2024 season 2 Porsche Cup official series schedule. Hockenheim opens up the season, Zolder, Mugello and the re-scanned Zandvoort all make their series debuts, while fan favourites, Road Atlanta, Road America and Spa return. Round 10 at Nurburgring Combined is just a day before Nurburgring 24 Hours.

£650 worth of Apex Racing Academy subscriptions are up for grabs across the pro, pro am and am driver divisions, as well as the teams championship, with each driver champion also receiving a trophy!
