Last week in the iRacing Apex Racing League paddock

As the iRacing world embarks upon a brand-new season, a fresh suite of cars and tracks have arrived for over 170,000 members to enjoy. Arguably, the most eagerly awaited addition to the iRacing simulator, is the Porsche 911 GT3 R. Weissach’s FIA GT3 spec challenger will arrive to Apex Racing League competition next week, be sure to check back in to see how the wailing flat-six monster fared on its debut in the ARL paddock.

Despite the excitement of new virtual toys to play with, drivers in the Apex Racing League Mazda, ARA F3 and ARL GT championship remained laser focused on their respective races.

Apex Racing League Mazda Cup – Round 2 – Road America

Road America’s expansive four-mile layout is renowned for photo finishes and last lap dices. Throw in a snarling pack of Mazda cup racers and the action is guaranteed to raise the heart rate. Our wonderful band of Mazda maniacs gather every Monday for three fiercely contested sprint races. The latest visit to Road America delivered on all the anticipation and promise.

Calieb Hydes, Pete Newman, Ivan Pinocchio, and Pawel Szymanek all took a turn at the front but no single driver could construct the perfect meeting. Expect all four to be there when the series reaches its conclusion at the Charlotte Roval on the 26th of July.

Apex Racing Academy F3 VRS Super Series – Round 8 – Road Atlanta

First on a three round stateside stretch to the end of the season, Road Atlanta put up a stern challenge for the key protagonists in the ARA F3 championship chase. Paul Draeta, Qio-Tiago Marteau, Connor Bell and Will Redford all possess a very real chance of taking the Apex Racing League F3 title. After yet another frantic meeting, calling a favourite is no easier than when the paddock rolled into Braselton Georgia.

Wave Italy ARL GT Championship – Round 1 – Watkins Glen

Thanks to the generous support of Wave Italy, the fifth season of the ARL GT Championship will be the most tightly contest yet. Furthermore, a stunning new broadcast package on Apex Racing TV brings one of ARL’s most popular series ever closer to the real world.

Defending champion, Niclas Laubisch, has returned to emulate his triumph from season four. However, the Urano Esports star will have to get through an armada of opposition, including several rapid new contenders to the ARL GT paddock.
