New Apex Racing Academy Porsche Cup Championship!!

Apex Racing League are to launch their first Porsche Cup series, in partnership with Apex Racing Academy! Porsche’s 911 GT3 Cup machine has been a kernel of Porsche’s motorsport offering for nearly thirty years. An unconventional rear engine layout and lack of significant aerodynamics of the Porsche GT3 Cup car demand a particular technique. However, with the correct set up and persistence, this fickle machine can be mastered.

The series is open setup but all entrants will have access to the Apex Racing Academy Porsche 911 GT3 Cup setup and coaching from Apex Racing Team driver and PESC front runner Kevin Ellis Jr. This provides an extremely competitive platform for drivers to race whether they have experience in building their own setups or not, ensuring that no one is at a disadvantage because of their lack of setup knowledge.

Every driver receives a coupon code to join the Apex Racing Academy, either for free with a Bronze membership or half prize with a Silver membership. Follow in the footsteps of Le Mans winners Bergmeister, Thiim, Bleekemolen and Bamber and begin your journey to the Porsche Super Cup in this 6 rounds and 12 race championship from Apex Racing League!

Le Mans winners like Earl Bamber, Nick Tandy and Matt Campbell all progressed through their respective regional Carrera Cup championships to the prestigious Mobil 1 Super Cup. All at the wheel of the 911 GT3 Cup machine. Such is the universal appeal of this road-bred machine. Of the nineteen Porsche Super Cup champions, ten have won the 24 hours of Le Mans.

The Apex Racing Academy Porsche Cup Championship follows the Porsche iRacing Cup official series enabling drivers to learn the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car throughout the season, improving week by week. The series will be running during Wednesday EU evenings (20:10-21:40 BST before round 3, 20:10-21:40 GMT round 3 onward), however drivers from around the world are all welcome to take part. Apex Racing League will once again use the iRacing heat format running 2 races of 20 and 30 minute lengths respectively.
