80 Minute Team GTE Races

GT Team Championship

The Apex Racing League GT Team Championship is ARL’s first team series. Featuring the 5 GTE cars, teams of two or three drivers will battle in 4 races, each 80 minutes in length, racing at some classic circuits that feature on the  iLMS and IMSA Sports Car Championship schedules.

Teams will need to field 2 drivers for each event with the driver who sets their fastest qualifying lap taking the start. Drivers will need to make sure to not pick up many penalty points or drive throughs, which will be given if too many incidents are amounted. Whilst the level of driving will be high, lower rated drivers will be eligible to contest the amateur championship whilst also racing wheel to wheel the fastest guys in the series

Having been part of the league from the very start way back during British GT, to just finishing Season 3 of ARL GT, the league has continued to grow in quality and competitiveness. The standard of driving is brilliant, the league itself organised in a professional manner. Every round produces memorable moments, which are waiting to be watched back or captured live on the brilliant live stream. Highly recommend!

Tom McMahon3x Drivers Champion + 2x Teams Champion

I‘ve had some of my best racing in this league thanks to it‘s wide range of skilled drivers. This was my third season in this league and I can say I‘ve improved alot because of the league and their competitors, they‘re always pushing me to get better. Some of those drivers aren‘t just other drivers anymore, we‘ve grown to become a Apex GT family. The commentary was always top notch and because of one guy in the booth I‘ve found somebody to talk about Tennis now too! I‘m really looking forward to Season 4!

Kevin KittelmanIndy Autosport Driver

ARL GT is full of competitive but courteous racers of a wide range of pace and experience. The teams that staple the grid together are friendly and inclusive which creates an especially good environment for solo racers as much as it does for new teams. The broadcasts are spectator friendly with great commentary and clear overlays that make it easy to track you on your campaign in every race. The majority of ARL competitors return season after season thanks to all of these great characteristics.
