2 – Championship Format

2.1 – Practice

2.1.1 – 125 minutes

2.1.2 – 30% track usage

2.1.3 – Start time and date can be seen in section 7 of the rules

 

2.2 – Qualifying

2.2.1 – 5 minutes, 4 laps maximum

2.2.2 – Closed qualifying (drivers on track alone)

 

2.3 – Race

2.3.1 – Distance set as per Section 7 in the rules

2.3.2 – Grid ordered by qualifying time

2.3.3 – Max time of 80 mins

 

2.4 – General Meeting Rules 

2.4.1 – Fixed setup (iRacing baseline for the specific circuit)

2.4.2 – 1 fast repair per race

2.4.3 – Drive through awarded at 16 incidents, and at every 8 incidents after that

2.4.4 In-sim time of day is carried over from each session to the next

2.4.5 – Track state is carried over from each session to the next

2.4.6 – Dynamic weather

2.4.7 1x time of day acceleration

2.4.8 – Automatic full course cautions as decided by iRacing at all rounds except at Road courses

2.4.9 – There are a maximum of 3 GWC Attempts if a race is set to end under caution

 

2.5 – General Championship Rules 

2.5.1 – 8 rounds

2.5.2 – Each driver’s lowest scoring meeting during the season is dropped

2.5.3 – Drop Scores only affect a drivers score not the teams score
