Sprint races in one of the world’s best sports cars!

ARL Mazda Cup

The Apex Racing League Mazda Cup is making its debut on the 1st of March! This series will be the first for the legendary Mazda MX5 cup car, with each of the 6 meetings consisting of three 15 minute races.

This intense format, along with large reverse grids is likely to make for some frantic action, which will be great to watch on Apex Racing TV. The series is accessible for everyone, with each track being part of the iRacing base content and fixed setups being used. Amateur teams and drivers will fight for their own prizes which include trophies, along with SDK Gaming and Apex Racing Academy subscriptions totalling £450 in value.

The Mazda MX5 cup car is the starting car for all iRacing road members as a low powered vehicle to teach the basics in car control. However, the sports car is one of the best cars to battle in, with side by side action possible at every turn and a relatively even playing field due to the simplicity of the machine. We can also visit several tight circuits that the Japanese car thrives at, albeit the Daytona round is sure to be entertaining.

First season in the Audi TCR car and it was a blast, Kia racing was good but the wheel to wheel action in the Audi is on another level. Good racing throughout the field and the mixture of Pro and Am means you really have someone to race at all times.

The ARLTC is what got me hooked on iRacing. Big grids & 3 short races make every race a different challenge. Plus the reverse grid races means everyone has a chance to finish on the podium.

I’ve been involved in this league for over 6 years now which speaks for itself. There is no better place on iRacing to have quality, competitive, hard racing every week.
